I've been pretty busy lately. Scheduling shoots, school, work, etc. Plus, I'm working on a new project. Hopefully the Nefarious Visions site will open this April. I'm still doing all the coding and selecting and editing the pictures.

*Fun fact: If you google Nefarious Visions you get some Yu-Gi-Oh fanfiction. hah. Nice.

9/53: Tangled Up

Fun shoot in Victorville. It was for a Tattoo Magazine. Mike was awesome. MUA was awesome. Model was awesome. Designer was awesome. Nick was just doing what he does best. It was pretty windy so human lightstand was needed to be in full effect. El Mirage dry lakebed was closed due to the recent storms. I need to find myself a team of a permanent MUA. It sucks looking around. Most importantly the shots came out awesome, even if it was shooting on the side of the road. I'll only post BTS footage since everything else in contracted.

Buono for Life

The Inland Empire clan invited cool guy Alex Buono, to speak for 2 hours and have a Q & A session. Buono is most noted for shooting SNL with a digital SLR (5D, 7D) and plenty of independent films. Plus, he developed killer Apps for apple and google. This is just pictures of slides. Stay educated.

Went to Santa Monica for a shoot. For some reason I always add "Claus" to anything with Santa in it. Weird. Did some IR practicing while I was at it. I assure you I will get better in the next couple of months.

Here's some pics I did awhile back. I really like the veil the bride is using. At the majority of weddings I've done the veil isn't this cool. I'm searching for a perfect veil to use for photographs. I found CM Leung's custom veil, but it's $300. Ouch.

My Infra is Red

Just recently my laptop crashed because my small fan gave out. I got it replaced and got windows 7 on my piece. I went 64bits just to be tight. I added RAM to my laptop too. I love sales at Fry's. Currently trying to restore my photoshop and lightroom to their former glory. I'm buying a grip of externals just because now. If been playing around a lot with Infrared photography. I did it a lot during film days...it was tough, but having a DSLR convert is more convenient. I still have to get better at focusing these things and post processing:

Impromptu Maternity Shoot

I dropped off Deb's baby shower pics after a long night of shooting. I also picked up a new ND filter. We decided to to a maternity shoot on the fly before heading out to eat. I only used natural light since my flash died out. I had to selectively pick some quick locations and poses because my battery hasn't been charged for a week, time was running out. I came up with around 60 or so pictures. It was fun. Another session coming soon.
