Summer Vacation is Over

Been busy this summer. Lots of editing and applying for me. Been trying to book as much as possible before school starts again. I'm trying to work on new ideas and concepts at the moment so I'm looking for inspiration wherever I go. Still have to tackle Vegas and NY before the summer is up. Ye.

Edd X Love Adventures: "See You Around"

The Finale to the Edd x Love saga here in Socal. They will be going to NorCal and Chicago for the remainder of their visit then back to Switzerland. Everybody in the family is already feeling the emptiness of the house. It was a grand adventure and I wish more things like this can happen regularly. We miss you. Edd X Love Adventures: Laguna Beach

Our family had the tradition of hanging out at Laguna Beach for the June birthdays...we need to revive that tradition again. I ventured off in the the morning to reserve "the spot." What makes this spot special to us is that it's secluded and it has pathways in 3 different directions. This day was also an opportunity to relax and feel sand against the toes. Afterwards we headed to the Apartment for dinner, but not after making at least 4 stops on PCH for snacks, view admiring, and pictures.

Edd X Love Adventures: Santa Monica

Edd had a meeting with the Semtech organization in the morning so we ventured to Camarillo. I was still pretty exhausted from driving, so luckily uncle gave us a ride. Kuya also got his Levis jeans fix while we were at the outlets. At Santa Monica we rendezvous with Corona and Long Beach colleagues and our adventure continued. The Edd x Love basketball tournament is still long overdue. Maybe on their next visit we'll watch it happen.

Edd X Love Adventures: Universal Studios

Another place to visit in CA is the entertainment capital of LA! Bong and Lovelyn are huge movie fans so Universal is a must. Although we didn't get to see everything they want to see, they still had some fun. Despite the huge delay, we at least got on the studio tours. Special effects stage and Waterworld is what we really wanted to see...next time! This is also the day I lost my cell phone...good thing I wrote down all 300 contacts..The tough part is re-entering everything again. This is my 4th phone loss...the curse continues.

Edd X Love Adventures: Boiling Crab

For their "free day" Kuya and Ate ventured all over. First, they enjoyed getting their fingers messy, visited the Champion, and headed back to Corona for a party in the Bloomfield division. It was another fun day of driving for me. Yay.

Edd X Love Adventures: Vegas x Surprise

Today was Bong^2 and Love's anniversary. My moms took them to the MGM spa to get all relaxed. In the meantime, I spent my time gambling and losing $200 at Hooter's. After rendezvous-ing with the group, we ventured to Stratosphere to see the view. It's cooler at night...wished we could seen it at night. Afterwards, we headed back home. I didn't drive back from Vegas this time, because all the elder folks rode together. I got to relax. Pilot Jimmy for the win

When spending a 1.5 weeks in SoCal why not leave SoCal for a bit? That's exactly what we did. We went to Vegas. It was also Bong 5x and Lovelyn's wedding anniversary weekend. We wanted to do something special for them. The couple stayed at MGM, while the rest of the family crammed into Cosmopolitan's cheapest room...which was awesome. I really like the contemporary feel to the Cosmo, but I hate the crowd = club go-ers and hypebeasts...pathetic shadows of my former self. Great night...but everyone get tired so fast. I didn't really sleep at all in Vegas, which is the standard.

Edd X Love Adventures: Disneyland

What's a trip to SoCal without stopping at Disneyland? A year ago Bong x2 and Lovelyn spent their anniversary at Disneyland Paris. It was interesting to see everyone gathered up. We got a cool ending in Star Tours and I was the rebel spy again. I also upgraded my animal pass so I can go more than I am comfortable with.

Another action packed day with the family. This time we would venture into Hollywood and try to figure out BongBong's new era hat size. 7 3/8? Anyways...we watched some fireworks by the Queen Mary and such later that evening.

Edd X Love Adventures: Wine Tasting

My cousin from Switzerland came to vacation with us for a week +. We have to show them what SoCal has to offer. An itinerary was created in order to achieve this. It was pretty tough, but I managed to start my shift as their full time driver as well as working between 2am-5am to get some money. These are gonna be a long couple weeks.
