Give Us This Day

I've been looking everywhere for this poster. This wasn't an official US release and only available through Nike.Ph. It sold out everywhere. Luckily my cousin James scored me one from the Philippines. It was smaller than the average 24'' x 36'' poster standing at 18" x 24". It doesn't matter though. He hooked it up and I'm thankful. It is really nice and glossy. I checked out some ebay and other memorabilia sites and it's going for $100!

Check it out: http://www.nike.com.ph/giveusthisday/

go make that your desktop background. Show some support for the motherland's national fist.

Ten Buck Tuesday

Usually I try to limit myself to spending at least 10 dollars on food. It all started in High School when I spent 10 dollars on rubios fish tacos. It was awesome. I ate them all in 20 mins. But as a homage to my old traditions I spent 4 dollars on 4 fish tacos at this hole in the wall mexican shack. Good stuff.

Pretty banging for a simple buck

Udon Your Life

I really like the instant Udon sold at japanese stores such as Mitsuwa or Marukai. I just bout 25 of them in order to survive for a couple weeks. The best kind looks like this:

Three Apples: An Exhibition Celebrating 35 Years of Hello Kitty

I decided to hit up Royal/T again, since it will be the last day the event will be here in America before relocating back to Japanland. Last friday I covered the Goth show here and it was quite successful. Mars just came back from San Fran on saturday so I decided to take her here on the final day to feed her obsession. This event was huge, considering the amount of years it took for an exhibition this big to finally come to America. Some individuals traveled all the way from Oregon, Texas, and Arizona to be a part of this event. As well as buy the rare and limited items by various Hello Kitty designers. Within the month, mad celebrities made their appearances here such as Fergie, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Chris Brown, Kozik, etc etc. When me and Mars went Misa Campo was there and an hour after we left Jessica Alba was there. Insane. So the month long birthday celebration of a middle aged Hello Kitty has come to an end. Thank you for surrounding me with mad women. Surprisingly most of the attendants were 18+ since children are still unable to appreciate the full caliber of Japan's international idol.

What's up brick?

Pacquiao Couch x Jesse Taps Out

Yesterday the hero of the Philippines dominated the boxing world once again. Although my prediction was somewhat off, (Pacquiao scores TKO in RD 1) I enjoyed the night of High Definition Yelling, Bile juice over rice, and the passion of filipino supporters worldwide. Afterwards was Kuya Jesse's party. The night continued with more beer pong, whoppers, knife fights, tecate, shots, Phantoms like a muthafucka, Vee wanting to sell a supreme shirt, Jesse falling down, Everyone wishing I was a black guy again, GPS navigators, Jesse falling down again, People with Pacquaio shirts, Laughing at Mohawk street and how we should name our kids Edinger, Persimmons,Pring Prong Bring Brong, RJ's shoes, disrespecting the Philippine flag, John credo sleeping, Chicago, Wide-angle lens conversations, Party in the USA, nursing programs, Happy birthday Jesse, Jesse falling down, shooting at Avalon and V20, Hello Kitty 35th anniversary exhibits, etc etc.
Anyways...heres how the night went. *Tip: Listen to the Slumdog Millionaire soundtrack while scrolling through them. It will make less sense.
